This Facility will impact thousands of current and future Arapahoe Warriors for years to come! The current Arapahoe weight room was last updated nearly two decades ago. Since that time there has been tremendous advancement in the field of sports performance and physical education for high school athletes and students. The planned upgrades take advantage of these latest advancements in both knowledge and equipment. In addition to better performance, the upgrades will allow for entire teams (or multiple teams) to train together in a more efficient and safe manner.

As part of your donation to the weight room renovation, AHS is excited to offer a commemorative brick to be placed around the exterior of the newly renovated weight room. This personalized brick will allow the school to memorialize your donation in a permanent way along the "Warrior Wall." We are excited to offer differing tiers for families, businesses, alumni, and anyone interested in helping provide state-of-the-art equipment to Arapahoe High School students and student-athletes.
If you have made a donation as part of this project already, you are still eligible to design a brick based on your contribution.
The following tiers are available based on your donation:
The best part of this campaign is that these bricks are yours to commemorate in any way you choose. Examples from other campaigns such as this have been used to remember a family member or student, honor a family legacy/contribution, or a unique way to inspire hope and send a positive message.
In case you missed it above, here is the link to How to Submit for Your Brick (Once you have completed your donation)
In an average year, PE will have around 620 students be in a weight training/advanced weights class, which is more than any one single program at the school. This number also accounts for nearly one-third of the student body in a given year, not including athletic programs, so the impact of a renovated weight room has the capacity to reach every student at some point during his or her high school career. Renovating the weight room will provide access to modernized equipment, similar to what a student would use at a rec center or fitness club. Having access to a modernized weight room helps build the foundational skills of weight training as well as instilling confidence in being able to use this type of equipment throughout his or her lifetime.
The Arapahoe High School Athletics Department has consistently been one of the most competitive in Colorado! That being said, some of the facilities which our athletes utilize have become outdated and inefficient for the size of our programs. This renovation will allow our athletic programs to have a State-of-the-Art space where their entire programs can work and develop together, enhancing camaraderie and opening up time for more programs to utilize the Performance Center. The best programs across the country are investing in sports performance for their athletes, it is time for us to do that as well. Help our athletes compete and excel in the Centennial Conference, the top athletic league in Colorado!
