We are the Arapahoe High School Boys Swim and Dive Team!
A huge swimming & diving thank you to our supporters for taking the time to view our page! Your continued and renewed support will help us as we strive to offer our student-athletes opportunities to compete against: the clock, themselves, opponents in the Centennial League, as well as the neighboring school districts. Ultimately, inspiration and backing from: parents, boosters, coaches, and our teammates encourages the team as "we" strive to perform at our best at the culminating B-League, A-League, and State Championships.
Donations and financial support: As part of the Arapahoe Warrior Booster Organization, your donations are tax deductible. If your employer offers matching donations, your contribution could multiply! In addition to our other fundraising efforts (e.g. No Cook Restaurant Nights, Sponsorships, and Advertising in Meet programs...the last two put on hold until we can return to a traditional full season), donations allow us to:
- Offset program costs (we know budgets are tight at home and also at the school district and state levels)
- Provide additional coaches on the pool deck for practices and meets
- Replace aging equipment used for practices and for hosting meets and invitationals (we are REALLY looking forward to both this school year as you may recall our previous season was canceled hours before our first meet)
- Fund our Heart of a Warrior scholarship program
Since 1964, over 1000 young men have competed as members of the Arapahoe Boys Swim and Dive Team. The current Warrior swimmers and divers would like you to know they are eager and cannot wait to get back in the pool with their teammates and renew connections with their coaches. There is no doubt, being a part of a high school team while in pursuit of worthwhile goals - bigger than themselves - is of tremendous value. The 2022, 2023, 2024, and incoming freshman class of 2025, once again look forward to:
- Experience the unforgettable scent of chlorine and being their teammates
- Coaches creating challenging training and practices (oh how they miss early morning practice, team bonding, the freedom and joy of springing off the diving board, and the weekly team feeds before school starts)
- Competing against someone other than a close relative. Somehow defeating a sibling or parent in a board game does not compare to the glory of a well deserved competitive team victory or individual performance
- Parents/families, classmates, AHS Teachers and Administrators, and supporters in the stands cheering them on (or quietly clapping after each dive) during a home meet!
On behalf of the entire team, our amazing coaches, and our supportive booster club, we cannot thank you enough for believing in the AHS Boys Swim and Dive Team...
Go Warriors!
